Mako Immunity:
The family has the ability to be submerged into mako and come out of it just fine. The individual will have the energy rush that may last until they wear off, and feel pretty good, but they won't get anything more than a temporary illness.
The illness has been described as the side effects of eating too much candy.
Decontamination on the surface is recommended. It won't harm them, but anyone that comes in contact with them while the mako is still 'active' may have the usual effects.
To carry out Mako based experiments, this trait must be suppressed. Otherwise, the experiment will have failed because the body picks up on the mako, and blocks the attempt.
Side Effects:
1: They can not attune to a materia that someone else has used. If they start and grow a materia and someone uses it once, they may as well have not grown it at all. It simply won't attune to them.
Materia must be issued or purchased to them in it's baby state.
2: Effects that originate from materia, such as a offensive attack has it's effect weakened. Not immune to the damage, but basically acts as a Magic Barrier. Healing effects are treated in the same way.
The family usually prefers healing with potions because of this.
3: Effects like Haste, Slow, and Regen only last half of the duration.
4: Life and Esuna magic work as a normal spell would.
